Proposed amendments

The aim is to eliminate discrimination against the wife in the event of bankruptcy in such a way as to allow her to recover her rights.
Such restrictions are not imposed on the husband in the event of the wife’s bankruptcy.

Current situation

The draft law was presented to the Parliament on 17/4/2007.
Noting that the “Committee for updating laws” at the ministry of Justice is currently reviewing the code of Commerce.
